A milestone birthday deserves a setting to match, and this private villa in Mijas gave us exactly that. An intimate 30th birthday celebration, styled top to toe in soft whites and warm neutrals, with sweeping sea and mountain views as the backdrop for the evening.
The team behind the day
This one was a true group effort. Your Personal Chef led event planning and catering for the day, with photography by Anastacia M capturing every detail. Our part was the décor: candles, a floating pool display, giant balloons and marquee light-up numbers, all built around the villa's own all-white palette.
The look
We leaned into a soft, sculptural palette of cream, sand and white — giant round balloons in a mix of matte finishes, clustered organically around a marquee "30" lit up for the evening. Oversized white orbs floated the length of the pool, and a run of jumbo balloons on flower-wrapped stands lined the entrance and garden, giving the whole property an elegant, cohesive arrival moment.
As the sun went down
As daylight faded, the long outdoor dining table came alive with candlelight, glassware and the glow of the pool balloons beyond — exactly the kind of golden-hour moment that makes an evening celebration in Mijas so hard to beat.
